I’m Not the Stereotypical Attorney When you contact Michael Montesano, an attorney serving Glen Cove, New York and all of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Counties, you will not be getting an overpriced, stuffed shirt whose main concern is the potential fee you may generate. Instead, you will be greeted by a professional who truly knows and cares about people. My commitment to helping people shows in my current community involvement as well as my employment prior to becoming an attorney. I was an Investigator and Lieutenant with the New York City Emergency Medical Service for seven years, and a Police Officer and Detective with the New York Police Department for ten years. Click here to view my profile. Not only do I care about people and have a strong background in serving the community, but I also have a superior reputation with my colleagues and the courts. I get results! In a recent case, County of Nassau v. Canavan I challenged Nassau County’s Administrative Code which allowed the county to seize the cars of people arrested for DWI. The State’s highest court, the Court of Appeals, held that Nassau County’s Administrative Code was unconstitutional, and as a result, the County has begun to return to the owners the approximate 1,800 cars seized previous to this decision. I practice law in many areas, including criminal, real estate, landlord and tenant, vehicle and traffic law, personal injury, wills and estates, business and corporations, Mental Hygiene Law Art 81 proceedings, and bank closings and foreclosures. If you are in need of a lawyer, and you want a lawyer who will provide you with unparalleled personal service and has the real life experience to get you results, please schedule a consultation with Michael A. Montesano, P.C. either by e-mail or by phone at (516) 759-8469.
